For every 7 day period a worker shall have at least one day off from work, which is directly connected to the daily rest. Monday is the first day of the week, in this respect. If possible, the weekly day off shall fall on a Sunday and, if possible, every worker of a given employer shall have that day off.
If necessary, and after consultation with its workers, an employer may postpone the weekly day off where special reasons make such an exception unavoidable.
If there is a special need to organize the work in a way that calls for the postponement of the weekly day off, a special agreement shall be made to that effect.
